At the halfway point of the set, Yenisei made a breakthrough – Ruslan Galimov scored twice, and Zhiga Stern also made a break – 16:10. After the timeout, the Nizhny Novgorod players were able to take off, but they were unable to reduce the gap – 15:20. The Siberians protected their advantage, with Konstantin Osipov making a spectacular over-the-head pass to the opposing team, followed by Stern's ejection – 22:15. In the final moments, Denis Shenkel, who had been recovering from surgery, made his first appearance on the court for the season, earning applause from the fans. Although he did not manage to score his first points for Yenisei, he made a successful defensive play.
