DOLPHINS FANS, DON’T PANIC! This Loss Was EXACTLY What Miami Needed!

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Las Vegas Raiders 27-13, but Dolphins fans… HEAR ME OUT! 🐬🔥

This loss may actually be exactly what Miami needs during what I believe is a gap year for this football team.

I said coming into this season that Dolphins fans need to understand what 2026 is really about. This isn’t necessarily about chasing 10 or 11 wins. This is about figuring out WHICH PLAYERS are going to be part of the next great Miami Dolphins team.

And that’s why I’m not walking away from this game completely discouraged.

Yes, Miami lost.

Yes, there were plenty of things that need to be fixed.

But we also saw some things that should make Dolphins fans excited about the future.

Caleb Douglas was one of the biggest positives of the game, finishing with 5 receptions for 94 yards in his NFL debut. That’s exactly the type of performance you want to see from a young player during a rebuilding season. (HEAVY)

De’Von Achane also remains one of the most important pieces of this offense, and every game gives Miami another opportunity to figure out how he fits into the long-term vision.

And that’s what this season is about.

WHO ARE THE BUILDING BLOCKS?

Which young players are going to emerge?

Who deserves to be part of the Dolphins’ future?

And most importantly, can Miami put itself in position to add another major piece through the draft?

I’m calling this a MEDIOCRE TANK SEASON — not because I want the Dolphins to intentionally lose every game, but because I believe the bigger objective should be building the foundation for the next great Miami Dolphins team.

So while some fans are going to be angry about losing to the Raiders, I’m looking at the BIGGER PICTURE.

If Caleb Douglas continues developing…

If De’Von Achane remains a centerpiece…

If Malik Willis continues to develop…

If Miami discovers more young building blocks…

AND if the Dolphins end up with a premium draft pick…

Then this season could ultimately help Miami more than a meaningless 8-9 or 9-8 season ever could.

The rebuild has officially begun.

Let’s find out who belongs.
