Perhaps the biggest winner of cut day is rookie defensive tackle Landon Robinson. The seventh-round pick out of Navy has reportedly been informed that he made the 53-man roster after an outstanding preseason. Robinson finished the preseason with four sacks and 10 pressures, according to Bengals.com, forcing Cincinnati to find room for him despite an extremely crowded defensive line.

Another young player sticking around is wide receiver Dohnte Meyers. The second-year receiver emerged as one of the biggest surprises of training camp and essentially locked up his roster spot with a 51-yard performance on the opening drive of Friday's preseason finale against Philadelphia.

The Bengals have also reportedly kept rookie tight end Jack Endries, giving Cincinnati five tight ends if Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample, Tanner Hudson and Erick All Jr. are all part of the initial roster. Endries, another seventh-round selection, impressed throughout camp as both a receiver and blocker.

Meanwhile, several familiar names are headed out.

Cincinnati is waiving Mitchell Tinsley, ending his run with the Bengals after he made the roster following a breakout 2025 preseason. The Bengals are also moving on from veteran return specialist Charlie Jones, while quarterback Josh Johnson, defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson, linebacker Shaka Heyward, cornerback Bralyn Lux, tight end Josh Kattus, offensive tackle Andrew Coker, linebacker Jack Dingle, defensive end Isaiah Foskey and receiver Jordan Moore are among the reported cuts.

Safety PJ Jules, however, has reportedly survived the cut, beating out Daijahn Anthony for a spot in the secondary.

Several important questions still remain.

One is the final construction of the wide receiver room. With Jones and Tinsley gone and Meyers in, Ke'Shawn Williams becomes a player to watch, particularly because of his ability in the return game. Cincinnati also has decisions to finalize along the offensive line, where Javon Foster, Jacob Bayer and Brian Parker II spent much of camp competing for reserve spots.

There is also the status of first-round defensive end Shemar Stewart. Stewart missed training camp with a knee injury, and placing him on injured reserve with a designation to return could create another roster spot.

With the deadline approaching, Cincinnati has answered several of its biggest questions — but the final few moves could determine exactly how the Bengals balance one of their deepest rosters in recent years.
