The Mavs Process vs Houston, Rookies, & The Cowboys Corner?

The Dallas Mavericks fell behind the Houston Rockets in their first NBA preseason game, and Marcus Sasser’s adductor injury puts a dent in the Mavs’ guard rotation behind Kyrie Irving. Is the Naji Marshall and Cooper Flagg pairing still a bad fit, and did the Mavs pick the right Michigan big in Morez Johnson Jr. over Aday Mara?

Nick Angstadt, Isaac Harris, and Slightly Biased break down the Mavs’ injury news, including Sasser, PJ Washington, Santi Aldama, and Caleb Martin, and what Naji Marshall starting at point guard says about the rotation. They get into Dusty May’s draft-night story, Aday Mara’s hot preseason start, and why Morez Johnson Jr. is on the Al Horford path. Plus, Isaac compares Zaccharie Risacher to Bryce Young, Dereck Lively II questions come up from the chat, and the crew takes a detour into the Dallas Cowboys.
