Rising sophomore Will Mulgrew has been on a rising trajectory this summer in distance free, and that culminated in the 1500 free last night. Mulgrew won his first national title and dipped under the 15:00 barrier for the first time in his career, touching at 14:58.50. The Harvard standout said this summer he has reached a new level of consistency in training and found more front-end speed to open his races with.
