Welcome to episode 1 of Kick Point’s brand new Winter Series, where Joe and I will be taking on a set of increasingly bizarre equipment challenges as we represent Kick Point Golf Club across an array of PGA Pro Ams this winter.

Our first challenge might be our most extreme yet - can we build a set of golf clubs exclusively using materials found at a hardware store? Joe said to me this was perfectly possible; he was the one who came up with the idea. I, of course, didn’t believe him and called his bluff. So, to see if his craftsmanship was really up to the task, I entered us into a real professional event in Devon, and said, " Go on, Joe, make us some clubs." Can we challenge for the top with clubs made exclusively from materials found at B&Q, or will we cause ourselves (and maybe others) serious harm?
