Kraken Fan & T1D Advocate Srinika Meets Kaapo Kakko 💙

Srinika Bhagavathula is a Type 1 diabetes advocate and a new Kraken fan. After managing the daily challenges of T1D — including constant monitoring and insulin management — even facing bullying along the way, Srinika chose to use her voice to support others living with the condition.

She was recognized as the Kraken Unity Fund Hero of the Deep and honored at a recent game. After the final buzzer, Srinika had the opportunity to meet her favorite Kraken player, Kaapo Kakko, who also lives with Type 1 diabetes — a special moment she won’t forget.
