Pitt vs. East Carolina: The Pitt Panthers lost a tough defensive battle to the East Carolina Pirates, 23-17 in the Go Bowling Military Bowl. Mason Heintschel completed 25-40 passes for 256 yards with a touchdown pass to Raphael "Poppi" Williams while Justin Holmes caught 6 passes for an even 100 yards and Ja'Kyrian Turner finished with 93 yards on 16 carries in the loss.
