SEC Preview: Best Bets 2026-27

Ryan McIntyre (@Moneyline_Mac), Noah Bieniek (@NoahB77_) and Cannabis Capper (@CannabisCapper) break down the 2026-27 SEC basketball preview, and everybody has Florida on top. It ends with Noah Bieniek picking Arkansas to repeat as SEC tournament champs in Nashville.

Stock up first. Noah Bieniek goes with Kentucky and has Mark Pope's group fourth, banking on a better defense and Milan Momcilovic, who shot 49% from three on seven and a half attempts a game at Iowa State. Cannabis Capper takes Tennessee and slots the Vols second behind a new backcourt led by VCU transfer Terence Hill Jr. and Tyler Lundblad. Ryan McIntyre rides Texas in year two under Sean Miller after last year's Sweet 16 run.

Stock down gets spicy. Noah Bieniek fades Texas A&M after Bucky Ball overachieved its way to a tie for fourth, and puts the Aggies ninth. Cannabis Capper fades Alabama's rebuilt frontcourt, while Noah Bieniek goes the other way and has the Crimson Tide second. Ryan McIntyre fades Missouri and later doubles down with a bold call that the Tigers finish 15th.

The middle of the league is a mess. LSU brings back Will Wade with Donovan Dent, Skyy Clark and four older Euro pros listed as freshmen, and all three guys stick the Tigers eighth because nobody knows where else to put them. Oklahoma keeps adding players waiting on eligibility, Lamont Paris is called a dead man walking at South Carolina, and the Gamecocks land 16th on every board.

Awards close it out. For SEC Player of the Year, Noah Bieniek takes a healthy Alex Condon at Florida and Ryan McIntyre goes with Vanderbilt's Tyler Tanner. For Coach of the Year, Noah Bieniek picks Sean Miller and Cannabis Capper goes with Mark Byington. Cannabis Capper also takes Vanderbilt to win the SEC tournament, and Ryan McIntyre backs Rick Barnes and Tennessee.
