Mayu Ishikawa said
, "First of all, I'm glad we were able to win, but there were many difficult moments where we could have secured the points, but there were also times when the opponent scored. When playing against a team with a similar style, I think we could have been more precise. When the game was close, whether we were leading or not, I personally felt that we lacked the momentum we had last year compared to last year, so I think we need to show more joy when we score a point and put more passion into our play. I'm glad we were able to play against Thailand before the Asian Championships, and I think we need to think about how we will respond when we play them next time. I think the opponent will also have countermeasures in place, so we want to be able to attack first so that we don't fall into their traps. Turkey, our next opponent, plays a different style of volleyball than today, so we need to understand their style and play accordingly, and we want to start the game with high precision, high quality, and an aggressive attacking mindset."
