Since being a wee boy, I have always been an equipment nerd. With the retro side of golf coming right back in vogue, I started dreaming of some of the clubs from my youth, some of which I played, and some that, quite frankly, got away from me… the ones I desperately wanted but couldn’t quite convince my Mum and Dad to fork out for…

But now, through the power of corporate expenses, IN THIS VIDEO I have somehow managed to convince our bosses here at Kick Point to let me loose on a nostalgic shopping spree and put together my ultimate retro bag and take on a PGA Tournament! There is a twist, however; I will be creating the ultimate blend of old and new with the help of our friends at KBS Golf and will be rebuilding my retro set with some of the best and most technologically advanced shafts that 2026 has to offer!

Will this be enough to be able to hold my own with 30-year-old clubs against a field full of professional golfers with modern gear? Only one way to find out…
