Campbell Stoll on 200 Fly NCAA Title for Texas: "It's an honor to continue the legacy"
Swimming
After coming in as the 3rd seed into the meet and the 4th seed after prelims, Texas junior Campbell Stoll touched first in the women's 200 fly final. Battling with Indiana's Alex Shackell from the beginning, the race came down to a touch, and Stoll was able to secure Texas's 4th NCAA title in the event.
Stoll said after the race that Emma Sticklen, the 3x defending champion in the event from Texas who finished her NCAA career last year, had been very encouraging and texted her (Stoll) immediately after the race with congratulations.
