De'Von Achane was a High School SUPERSTAR 🔥

Before Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane brought his speed to the NFL, he was one of the nation’s top high school sprinters and was named the 2020 Gatorade Texas Boys Track & Field Player of the Year.

Achane helped Fort Bend Marshall win a state championship in 2019 and finished the season ranked No. 1 nationally in the 200m after breaking 21 seconds five times. He ran his 100m personal best in 2020 at the Spartan Relays, where he clocked 10.53.

He later played football and competed in track and field at Texas A&M, recording personal bests of 6.63 in the 60m, 10.02 (+4.5) in the 100m, and 20.20 (+1.3) in the 200m.

After his junior season at Texas A&M, Achane was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He will be playing his second game of the 2026 season this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
