Stage 5 of the Tour of Hainan 2026 was another fast and nervous finale, with breakaway riders fighting all the way to the last 700 metres before the peloton finally took control. After a tense chase into Sanya, the race ended with a flat-out sprint finish, while the overall standings stayed unchanged on the final day.
