Georgia's Kennedi Dobson pulled a tough double at the Sacramento Pro Swim last weekend and came out with a win in perhaps the more surprising event. Known for her mid-distance freestyle, Dobson first swam the final of the women's 200 free, where she placed 2nd (1:57.38) by a narrow margin to Torri Huske (1:57.15).
With just the men's 200 Free final and the women's 400 IM consolation as a buffer, Dobson was back in the pool quickly for the women's 400 IM final. The 19-year-old ended up winning the event by over 5 seconds, touching in 4:43.73, a new lifetime best.
