The Novosibirsk Lokomotiv Arena kicked off the home series, which will conclude the preliminary stage in two rounds. In the Siberian derby against Yenisey, Rajab replaced Kazachenkov in the traditional starting lineup of the Novosibirsk team, while Markin replaced Kurbanov, and Kuraev returned to the team after recovering from an illness. Osipov passed for the Krasnoyarsk team from the first plays, Fetsov passed in the diagonal, and Galimov appeared in the start, but he was replaced by Kukhno in the first set.

In the second set, Kreskin replaced Osipov in an attempt to find his game on the court, but the scenario did not change. The railway team continued to build their advantage with powerful serves, leading to a score of 8:5 and 16:11. The main scorers of the evening, Radjab and Voronkov, maintained a high level of efficiency, with the latter also recording two aces in the final set.

In the third set, the intrigue was revived – the guests led with a break – 8:6. Yenisei was led by Stern. The Novosibirsk team stabilized the reception, and Nikolov immediately connected Lyzik and Kurkaev to the attack – the advantage was back with the hosts – 16:14. Everything was decided in the reception-defense phase, where in key moments Yenisei could not cope with the tension of the Siberian confrontation. Voronkov put an end to the match with a score of 25:22, a long-awaited dry home victory for Plamen Konstantinov's team.

The most productive player in the match was Lokomotiv's диагональный Раджаб Шахбанмирзаев, who scored 18 points (75% efficiency).
