North Carolina vs. South Dakota State: The #12 Tar Heels defeated the Jackrabbits 83-48 in the Cancun Challenge. UNC scored 31 points off 21 South Dakota State turnovers. North Carolina made 10 three-pointers compared to just two for the Jackrabbits. North Carolina's Indya Nivar recorded a triple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 steals, plus she had five assists as well.  Nyla Brooks and Elina Aarnisalo each scored 14 points to lead the Tar Heels.
