The Blue Jays and Rays played a tight, back-and-forth game that went down to the wire in Tampa Bay. The Athletics faced a strong Phillies squad in Philadelphia, while the Orioles edged the Marlins in a high-scoring affair in Miami. The Twins rolled to a big road win over the Nationals, and the Rangers battled the Yankees in the Bronx. In extra innings, the Cubs rallied late to top the Reds at Wrigley. The Royals held off the Guardians, the Astros took a low-scoring matchup against the Dodgers, and the Angels narrowly defeated the White Sox. The Diamondbacks shut out the Pirates behind dominant pitching, the Braves held on against the Mariners in Seattle, and the Padres cruised past the Giants in San Francisco. A couple of games involving the Brewers/Cardinals and Mets/Rockies were postponed due to weather.📝
