“One to One Hundred” is the story of how running just one mile a day transformed my life—culminating in my first 100-mile ultramarathon at the legendary Bighorn 100. This race, known for its punishing climbs, unpredictable weather, and breathtaking scenery in Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains, pushed me to my absolute edge.
This short film captures the raw emotion and grit of that journey: from the adrenaline-fueled start to the relentless ascent of over 20,000 feet, through shoe-sucking mud, snow-dusted trails, and the solitude of night running. It’s a glimpse into the mental and physical battle of pushing beyond limits, supported by an incredible trail community and the wild beauty of one of the toughest ultras in America.
Whether you’re an ultrarunner or just curious what it takes to run 100 miles in a day, this is my story of how it all began—one mile at a time.
