Why There’s No “Perfect” Grip in Junior Golf ⛳️🏌️♂️
One of the biggest misconceptions in junior golf is that there’s only one “correct” way to grip the club ⛳️ In reality, even the best coaches in the world don’t all agree on a universal grip because every golfer’s body and swing are different. What they do agree on is that extremes usually create problems 🏌️ a grip that’s too weak can make it hard to square the clubface, while a grip that’s too strong can create timing and consistency issues. For most junior golfers, staying close to neutral 🤔 or slightly on the stronger side… often provides the best mix of control, power, and consistency. Instead of chasing a “perfect” grip, parents should focus on helping their child develop one that allows them to move naturally and play with confidence 💪🏆
