40 Years across Europe: Our first European Jersey is here

40 years of European nights, unforgettable moments, and great stories. With the new European jersey, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and equipment supplier New Balance are celebrating the club’s international history under the epic motto “40 Years Across Europe. Still Creating History.”
For the first time in Bayer 04’s history, the Werkself will have its own jersey for European competitions. The team will wear the jersey during its international matches in the 2026–27 season.
The European jersey will be presented by Bayer 04 legends and current Werkself players. Together, they represent the generations that have shaped the club’s European history and continue to write it to this day. The 1988 UEFA Cup victory, the epic battle in the 2002 Champions League final against Real Madrid, and the Werkself’s breathtaking run to the 2024 Europa League final are just a few of the many highlights in Bayer 04’s storied history, which finds visual expression in the new jersey.
