WHOA!
On the final night of competition at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale Open, Gretchen Walsh blew away the competition, clocking a 54.33 100 fly to break her own world record by over two tenths of a second. After the race, Walsh said she felt good in warm-up but hadn't put any pressure on herself to perform in world-record fashion at this meet, which helped her swim the race relaxed and confident.
