Cycling3d-printed Saddles

3D-printed saddles are one of the hottest trends in cycling right now, but as often with new technologies, prices from major brands are typically steeper than K2.

It’s perhaps no surprise, then, that a large quantity of surprisingly cheap alternative options have popped up on AliExpress. Many have received rave reviews online, but is the hype justified – and are expensive 3D-printed saddles simply a rip-off – or is there more to this technology than meets the eye?

To find out, Simon purchased a 3D-printed saddle made by RYET for just £32.06 (roughly $43 / €38), and pitted it against Trek’s £329.99 / $424.99 / €349.99 Aeolus RSL AirLoom saddle.

Can the Trek saddle possibly be worth ten times as much of your hard-earned money? Tune in to find out.
