In Blacksburg, the Virginia Tech Hokies outlasted a tough Virginia Cavaliers team, 76-64 at home in front of a great crowd inside Cassell Coliseum. Carleigh Wenzel came up big for the Hokies, scoring a game-high 23 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 5 assists and a blocked shot in the win. Mackenzie Nelson added 15 points, Samyha Suffren chipped in 12 and Carys Baker scored 11 points for Tech. Kymora Johnson led UVA with 19 points in the loss.
