On Thursday, September 17, you can get the iconic Nolan Ryan Bloody Lip bobblehead, presented by Nolan Ryan Beef. Just be one of the first 10,000 fans at the Rangers-Red Sox game, and it's yours.
Nolan Ryan famously suffered the bloody lip on September 8, 1990, when a hard-hit grounder by Bo Jackson struck him in the face. Amazingly, Nolan was able to field the ball and throw Bo out at first. Nolan went on to pitch seven innings of one-run ball. The Rangers won the game 2-1. After the game, Nolan received six stitches.
