You've seen the boots and you've seen the tech. I think most will agree with me in saying that the Superfly is officially back! But what about those of us who play on artificial grass? The FG stud pattern is great for providing that super aggressive bite on natural grass, but in all honesty, should not be used on any kind of artificial playing surface. Well, that's why Nike also makes an AG-Pro version.
In today's video we take a closer look at the new @nikefootball Mercurial Superfly 11 Elite with the AG-Pro stud pattern. Designed specifically for use on artificial grass playing surfaces, but still with the bottom loaded Air Zoom unit like the FG model, and also with a few other interesting design elements that certainly raise some questions about how "AG friendly" it actually is. Are the studs too long? Are there too many blades? Is the Zoom unit to thick? And perhaps most importantly, are they actually safe to wear on artificial grass? I tested them out and believe that I have the answers to all of these questions and more, so if you're thinking about copping the new Superfly 11 Elite, but also play on AG, this one's for you!
