France earn favourites tag and Cape Verde make history | World Cup Daily

Elsewhere: in Group I, Senegal all but guarantee an appearance in the round of 32 thanks to a 5-0 win over Iraq. And then in Group H, Cape Verde make the knockouts at their first ever World Cup after a third draw in a row, this time to dump out Saudi Arabia.
