Mike Gorman relives one of the most epic play calls in Celtics history, when Paul Pierce buried a three-pointer right in Al Harrington’s face during Game 4 of the 2003 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals between the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers.
Pierce and Harrington had been jawing at each other for a while before the end of the quarter. Gorman, Boston's play-by-play man for more than four decades, says he was “possessed” by the moment as he reveals what he was feeling and what brought the emotional call out of him as the play unfolded.
