Ja Morant led the way for Memphis with 21 points and 13 assists, marking his first 20-point, 10-assist game of the season. Cedric Coward added 21 points on 3-of-5 shooting from deep, along with nine rebounds and four assists, while Jaren Jackson Jr. contributed 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting.

For Dallas, Max Christie scored 18 points, Naji Marshall added 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, and rookie Cooper Flagg posted 12 points and six rebounds.

With the win, the Grizzlies improved to 4-6 overall, while the Mavericks fell to 2-7.
