While he is technically a freshman for Virginia, Thijs De Ridder is a 23-year-old former professional European player from Belgium. In half a season, he has become the leader for the Virginia Cavaliers. Averaging a team-high 17.0 points per game on a highly efficient 53.8% field goal shooting. He is also tied for the team lead, grabbing 6.3 rebounds per game. The talented forward has the Cavaliers in contention for a double bye in the ACC tournament.
