Toronto Maple Leafs vs Colorado Avalanche Postgame Show | Game 6 | TLN After Dark

The Toronto Maple Leafs deliver one of their most impressive performances of the young 2026-27 NHL season, defeating the Colorado Avalanche 6-3 at Ball Arena! Zack Phillips is live for another edition of Leafs Nation After Dark to break down a massive road victory over Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar and the Avalanche.

William Nylander stole the show with two goals and three assists, tying his career high with five points, while Auston Matthews added two goals and two assists in a dominant four-point performance. Easton Cowan scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period, Nick Blankenburg found the back of the net in his Maple Leafs debut, and Nick Paul stepped up with two assists after moving into the second-line centre role with John Tavares out of the lineup.

Zack breaks down Toronto's offensive explosion, the incredible performances from Nylander and Matthews, Cowan's continued development, and Sergei Bobrovsky making 30 saves to earn his first victory of the season. We'll also discuss Gavin McKenna's contribution to the power play, the Maple Leafs' ability to respond after surrendering two goals to Nathan MacKinnon, and the significance of picking up their first road win of the season.

Plus, Zack examines the injury to Chris Tanev, the biggest takeaways from Toronto's 3-2-1 start, and what this victory means for the Maple Leafs moving forward.
