AJ Pierzynski, Erik Kratz and Scott Braun react to the Seattle Mariners hiring Jason Kanzler as their new manager over former Houston Astros skipper Joe Espada. The guys question Seattle's decision to hire another first-time MLB manager despite having a roster built to contend, debating whether Kanzler's player development background can translate to success in the dugout and how much influence Jerry Dipoto will have over the team's direction. FT Senior Insider Ken Rosenthal joins the conversation to share his surprise at the hire, examine the growing trend of front offices favoring inexperienced managers and discuss whether Dipoto's job could be on the line if the move doesn't work out. Plus, Ken weighs in on the remaining managerial openings with the Astros and Angels.
