“I’m quite stubborn… I’m gonna throw 70 metres.”
For Michal Burian, there’s still plenty left to chase.
With Paralympic medals from Tokyo and Paris already to his name, Michal is pursuing the 70-metre mark in javelin and has his sights set on adding gold to his medal collection in LA.
In ‘Rituals & Routines’, Michal shares how embracing a new discipline has helped him rest, reset and learn, while stepping into coaching has given him the opportunity to pass his experience on to the next generation.
Created by Australian Athletics in partnership with Rio Tinto, Under the Surface explores the people, experiences and relationships behind Australian athletics.
