People forget Paul George couldn't even really handle the ball as a rookie in Indiana. Combo and I go back to one of my first ever videos with him training and even then we had no clue what he'd turn into.
They thought he was a four coming out of college. He worked and worked on his handle and his shot making until he turned himself into a legit two-three who could guard at an elite level.
And here's the part people really forget: after that horrific injury in Vegas with Team USA, he wasn't the same athlete, but he became an MVP candidate with OKC anyway. Tighter shot, better handle, still a problem defensively.
That's not talent. That's work. #shorts
