National Champion Setter Tread Rosenthal, freshman year and the UH community!

Arriving on campus as a freshman is exciting—but it can also be intimidating, especially when the teammates around you are players you’ve watched on TV for years.

In this clip, @tread.duke shares what it was like stepping into the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors men's volleyball program @hawaiimvb and suddenly practicing alongside stars like @spyroschakas @chazgalloway and @gvosssantos

What stood out most? How welcoming everyone was from day one.

Tread talks about the immediate sense of community within the program and how the older players helped him adjust quickly to college volleyball and life at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
