9° vs 10.5° vs 12° Driver — Which Loft Is Best for YOU?

Driver loft explained: we tested 9° vs 10.5° vs 12° in the same Callaway Quantum Max head — same shaft, same settings, only the loft changed.
More loft means more launch and more spin. Less loft is hotter off the face. The whole game is finding the window where those two line up.
We ended up with 16 yards of carry difference between lofts — stick around for the launch monitor numbers and the loft that turned out to be the Goldilocks.

Two of us hit all three heads, and we're opposite ball flight players — one of us fights spin, the other struggles to launch it. That's the point: the "right" driver loft isn't the same number for everybody. We walk through why the ideal launch window sits around 13-15 degrees, why a ball that spins too much stops going anywhere no matter how hard you swing, and why cranking a 10.5° down to 9° opens the face and can send it right on you.
