Is Evan Louro FC Cincinnati’s New Starting GK? | Louro vs Celentano

Is Evan Louro making a case to become FC Cincinnati’s starting goalkeeper? After recording five saves in FCC’s 3-1 road win over Atlanta United, Louro has given Pat Noonan a decision to consider as the Orange and Blue look to build momentum.

Roman Celentano has been Noonan’s first-choice goalkeeper when healthy, but Louro stepped up in Atlanta, making key saves and showing confidence coming off his line. Noonan praised Louro’s performance and the team’s improved defensive organization, while Celentano remained on the bench as FCC secured just its second MLS road win of the season.

One strong performance doesn’t automatically change the depth chart, and Noonan has not announced a permanent goalkeeper change. But with FCC looking for consistency and results in the playoff race, should Louro get another start, or should Celentano reclaim his place when ready?

What would you do if you were Pat Noonan? Should Evan Louro keep the shirt until he gives the coaching staff a reason to change it, or does Celentano remain the clear No. 1?
