Dallas OUT of the Top 3?! 3 Bold West Predictions | Countdown to Hockey

The Western Conference playoff picture could look very different in 2026-27.

In this edition of Countdown to Hockey, we make three bold predictions for the Western Conference:

🏒 Dallas Stars: They still make the playoffs, but could fall out of the Central Division's top three and become a wild card team.

🏒 Anaheim Ducks: After a busy offseason, the Ducks could take a step back and miss the playoffs.

🏒 San Jose Sharks: The Sharks have added veteran pieces around their young core and could make their return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Are these predictions too bold — or could the Western Conference be in for a major shakeup?
