Ja’Marr Chase told NFL Network that he likes seeing the fiery side of Joe Burrow — even when Burrow is getting on him.
“I like him when he’s f—ing pissed. I’m not going to lie. I like him when he’s like that. I like the fire that he has. He don’t always bring it out.”
Chase says he welcomes Burrow holding him accountable.
“I don’t mind it. That’s hard coaching. That’s critical coaching. He’s holding me accountable. I appreciate that. I would do the same to him.”
Burrow has reportedly been noticeably more stern and demanding with his teammates entering the 2026 season.
