The WNBA is enjoying unprecedented growth and popularity, but an ugly trend threatens to derail its success: toxic online hate. In this powerful monologue from Women's Sports Now, host Suzy Shuster delivers a blistering reality check to so-called "fans" infecting comment sections across Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
While on-court critiques of stars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are part of the game, the line is officially crossed when it turns into racism, misogyny, and targeted abuse against players like Chelsea Gray. Watch as Suzy calls out the league to do more to protect its athletes and explains why this fight is deeply personal for the future of women's hoops.
