Ben Arbuckle Ruined Game Day But Not Norman! SEC Road Trip

Ben Arbuckle might have ruined Oklahoma's Saturday, but he wasn't about to ruin our SEC Road Trip!

This week, That SEC Podcast takes the SEC Road Trip presented by Camping World to Norman, Oklahoma, for the Oklahoma Sooners versus South Carolina Gamecocks!

And let me tell you, Norman did NOT disappoint!

We kicked things off with a visit to the legendary Mont before catching up with the boys from SoonerScoop, Eddie Radosevich, George Stoia, and Carey Murdock. Eddie even gave me a little history lesson on Oklahoma's incredible Heisman Trophy tradition, including legends like Billy Sims, Jason White, Sam Bradford, Baker Mayfield, and Kyler Murray!

The following day, we hit the Oklahoma tailgate scene to experience what makes Sooner Nation so special. Great people, incredible hospitality, and a college football atmosphere that absolutely lived up to the hype.

Unfortunately, the football game was another story.
South Carolina rolled into Norman and handed Oklahoma a miserable 42–25 loss. With Sooner fans calling for offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle's job and questions surrounding Brent Venables, the frustration in Norman was impossible to ignore.

But even a disappointing Saturday of football couldn't spoil our time in Oklahoma!

Huge thanks to Sooner Nation for showing us an incredible weekend!
Who deserves the blame for Oklahoma's struggles? Ben Arbuckle, Brent Venables, or someone else? Let us know in the comments!
