Master the two step volley on those wide balls šŸŽ¾ Save this and reshare!

This footwork pattern gives you more court cover and allows you to move through the ball making contact and shot execution easier.

āœ… 1. To master the two step volley footwork you must focus first on opening up the hip of as you rotate out outside foot (left foot on backhand / right foot on forehand).

āœ… 2. Step with the outside foot in the direction of the oncoming ball, the further the ball the bigger that step.

āœ… 3. Load your outside foot to push you forward during contact and landing on the opposite foot.

āœ…4. Complete the move by getting the outside foot to catch up and back in line with your body. You want to be sideways onto the direction you need to recover.

āœ… 5. Make the recover step (either side step for closer recovery / cross over step for further distances)

āœ… 6. Split step and you are ready to go again! Enjoy feeling like Roger Federer at the net šŸ˜Ž
