The Miami RedHawks trailed UConn 14-0 in the first quarter, but rallied for a 24-21 Homecoming win in Oxford!
David McComb helped erase the deficit with a 10-yard touchdown run and a 57-yard touchdown pass to Brendan Loftus. Miami took a 21-14 lead in the third quarter before UConn tied it again.
With McComb injured, backup quarterback Caleb Heavner helped lead the decisive fourth-quarter drive. Freshman Brady Stidham, a Loveland High School graduate, then drilled a 33-yard field goal on his first-ever college kick to put Miami ahead. The RedHawks’ defense made one final stop to seal the comeback!
