Virginia Tech had little trouble getting past East Tennessee State, 73-55. The Hokies got the job done with a balanced scoring attack with Carys Baker leading the way with 22 points on 7-11 shooting, including 2-5 from three-point range. Mel Daley added 13 points, Samyha Suffren scored 12, and Carleigh Wenzel chipped in 8 points in the win.
