Last night, Katie Ledecky finished her Pan Pacific Championships campaign in the 800 free, having what she called the best swim of her meet. She touched at 8:07.26, one of the best 800s of her career, time-wise. She also claimed silver, finishing behind Lani Pallister, marking her first international defeat in this event ever. After the race, Ledecky reflected on her week and history in the 800, keeping a positive attitude while giving Pallister props for making histoy.
