After a Game 7 like that, I have to ask the real question: can Chet Holmgren actually be a viable number two?
He looked lost out there. Butterfingers, hesitation, slipping on plays. I know what that feels like as a player and it's not a good sign when the moment is too big.
And Wemby basically said it himself. This isn't a rivalry. Not even close.
What makes it even more concerning for OKC is that the Spurs weren't even supposed to be here yet. This breakthrough was penciled in for next year. Now San Antonio is ahead of schedule and those young guys are only going to keep believing more and getting better. That's a real problem for the Thunder going forward. #shorts
