$100,000 USD to Win a 100-mile #Ultramarathon?! 🤯

A Colorado 100-mile Ultramarathon is paying $100,000 USD to both the men’s and women’s winners of the race next year?! The race is @runrabbitrun100 and they’ve been offering $20,000 to the winners. Now that is a serious increase in prize purse!

What do we think are the ramifications of this? What does 2nd place get then? “Professionalism” in the sport? More fast Roadies crossing over? More doping and more drug testing? Media credentials and coverage? The funding apparently was all made possible by sponsor Insight global (a recruiting/hiring company). What are your thoughts on this?! 👇
