After falling behind early once again, the Diamondbacks notched their league-leading 42nd comeback win of the year on Saturday against the Houston Astros with a 4-3 win in 10 innings. Ketel Marte had arguably the biggest swing of the night with a game-tying homer in the eighth, and Gabriel Moreno hit an RBI single in the 10th that gave the D-backs the lead. As has often been the case, the bullpen was excellent, too.
We discuss the biggest moments of the win, including a pair of huge strikeouts of Yordan Alvarez, a Lars Nootbaar RBI double, another quality start from Brandon Pfaadt and more. Plus, Corbin Carroll had a couple of hard-hit balls, including a double in the first inning. Meanwhile, is it time for the D-backs to move on from Max Kepler?
We also give the latest on four injured pitchers who could return to the team soon, including Corbin Burnes, Michael Soroka, Zac Gallen and Ryne Nelson. What kind of roles could they play? Join Jesse Friedman and Jack Sommers on this live postgame edition of Snakes Territory, the official Arizona Diamondbacks show in the Foul Territory network.
