Benny Gealer got things started on the right foot for the Cardinal, scoring 12 of his career-high 30 points in the first half. Gealer knocked down 8-12 shots from the floor, including a career-high 7-11 from three-point range, while recording a career-high 6 steals in the win. Stanford's freshman star Ebuka Okorie finished the game with 22 points on 6-10 shooting, including 1-2 from deep, while adding 6 assists and 2 steals for the Cardinal. Boopie Miller scored a team-high 26 points in the loss.
