Colston Loveland vs Trey McBride: Who I'm Drafting in 2026

Loveland vs McBride is one of the toughest calls on my board — and I'm not in
the minority when I say I'd rather draft Colston Loveland, because it comes down
to cost. To me it's close to a coin flip on talent, and the arrow points at the
offense: Loveland saw 48 targets over the Bears' final four games (21 more than
anyone not named the next guy on Caleb Williams' list), and I believe in the
Caleb Williams / Ben Johnson partnership far more than what McBride is working
with in Arizona. Vegas backs it up too — the Bears' implied scoring ranks all
the way up at 10th while the Cardinals sit near the bottom. That's why I've got
Colston Loveland at tight end 2 and Trey McBride at tight end 3.
